1080p HDCVI purchased 2 months ago.
Unsuccessful attempts to set up local access or remote access.
on DDNS page in settings trying to get email address, none of the options are
.quickddns.com, the field before that remains blank and the drop down shows
amcrestddns.com or no-ddns.com. quickddns is not anywhere to be seen.

Tried 20 times, any suggestions would be helpful.

Use your router to communicate with quickddns. This section is not for accessing the camera. I'm also assuming you already have an account with quickddns or you wouldn't be asking. DDNS has nothing to do with local access. I suggest you tackle that first. Just leave the DDNS section of the camera disabled.

Do you know how to set up the network part of the camera?

Well that's where the trouble started. Setting up local network, Macbook air, updated software and Google Chrome browser. When said okay to install plugin, I got error 404 on a blank page. The login page was clear but when I tried to login it said I must install plugin. I said okay went thru the same routine with the same outcome.
Cameras are working, dvr is working my iphone app works with the building, Just won't work on computer, that's why tried to work on the remote network.
Very frustrating.
