ddns question

hello. so, if i setup amcrestddns.com, does that mean i should be able to access the camera from any computer outside my home network by typing in "printerName.amcrestddns.com" in a browser and then see my camera?

when i setup my amcrest phone app, i typed in the actual ip address and port number.

just wondering if typing a name in would work also - but from a remote computer not phone.

thanks, i did not see that video, just the text instructions. so yup, i should be able to see it via the name. thanks! ill mess around with it, i think i have it set right since works with my phone. could be our it guy blocks anything other than standard ports.

speaking of that i wonder if i can use 443... i will chck that out.
