Connecting permanently to computer

Issue 1
I want to utilize this camera by receiving the wireless camera signal through a Netgear wireless modem and going into a PC via an Ethernet cable. Need assistance with this configuration.

Issue 2
I will have to do all configuration at my home, that has internet service. After setup, I will be moving camera, modem, and computer to a location that does not have internet service. Once unplugged and then reinstalled, I think the camera's IP address will need to be reset using the IP configuration software. Is that correct? If so, can the IP config software be properly run without internet? Am I missing anything regarding the location that does not have internet service?

As long as you only plan on accessing the camera locally, you don't need internet access. Is your modem a combination modem/router? You'll only be using the routing function at the location where no Internet is present. To solve the IP issue, set the camera IP to a static IP outside the DHCP range. This way you can move between locations without having to mess with anything.
