Can someone explain the differences between the following two settings?
Event > Video Detection > Motion Detect > Schedule
Storage > Schedule > Record Schedule > Motion
I use 841.

Event > Video Detection > Motion Detect > Schedule -
Here you set the schedule for the motion detection. This schedule need not necessarily be for recording. This will be the time period when the camera actually looks for motion and can do activities such send email, upload image to FTP or record video.
Storage > Schedule > Record Schedule > Motion
Here its the schedule for recording only. If you have no schedule set here for motion it will not record during that period even if you have the other schedule activated. It can still send email or upload images to FTP during that time. Hope this helps.
