Config export files not saving

I use the Amcrest apps, etc. on my iPad. The config backup files are not being saved to my files even though it says that they are. When I click “export” it asks if want to save it. I say yes. This has been the case for all three Amcrest cameras for the last couple of months.

Some first thoughts -
What model camera/NVR is involved?
Have you checked all locations configured for 'Files' e.g. "iCloud", Network shares, "On my iPad"?

Edit - Second thoughts - I have to admit that although I always use my iPad as a monitor for my cameras, I've never really looked at saved file locations so, having now tried it out and finding it's working on mine, I'll add the correct location in the above list i.e. within the app settings, "My saved files". Presumably that's where you've checked and found it's not working?

My Amcrest cameras installed are - IPR8M-VD2893EW-AI POE; IP4M-1051B; IPM-HZ1B. I don’t use an NVR. I save motion detection videos via FTP to my website. When editing the camera settings I click on export. It asks if I want to download and I click yes but it doesn’t show up anywhere within the files app. The config backup files used to save to my Files until this past May or June. I don’t believe that any settings were changed.

So on some of my devices I am able to pick an area to upload or aka Export the file to.. Then when I want to import my image back it is able to pick where to find the file. Others I just make a backup folder with the camera name from company ie.. Amcrest, Dahua, LTS, G4, ICRealtime and so on.. Then the name of the camera in the right folder.. I will copy it to that folder.. So when I just checked my Amcrest 1051W that is working on the last known good FW package that image on export will put the file into the Download folder and then I can move it to the correct file folder area.. Some are named differently and this 1051 is configfileexport in my download folder is where I can find it before moving..

Thank you. I’ll try on my PC laptop to see if the exported config files are saved. Maybe it’s an Apple issue.
