Computer monitor

Hi I'm a new owner do I need a separate monitor or can I use my computer monitor and still use my computer I have a dni 2 connection on my monitor but when I installed a dni to vga connector would not work.

Sorry auto correct connection should be DVI-D and now I realized there are two different adapters DVI-D and DVI-A and have the wrong one but with the correct adapter DVI-D should it work for the 960

Hello Johnnygoat,

The 960H has VGA output as well as HDMI output. if you are using a standard computer monitor, you can connect it using a VGA cablle that you use the computer to the monitor.

Thanks Melvin what I found out was there are a couple different DVI-D adapters and found one that worked but now I'm going DVI-D TO HDMI and this works good because now I can switch back and forth from my computer and camera's I have a switch on my monitor.
