Chrome - plugins will soon be unsupported

Post by johnnyv »

I have been getting messages whenever I log into my DVR using Chrome that the DVR site uses two plugins that will soon be unsupported: npmedia.dll and TimeAxes. I upgraded my firmware, but I still get these messages. Is anyone else getting these on Chrome for the 720p system?

All of us do, who use the work around for Chrome. They said the will have a new plugin, with an ETA of September, in one of the other Chrome threads.

Hi johnnyv,

linflas is correct, we are currently developing a solution for Chrome discontinuing NPAPI support, we should have it available by September.

I see that Chrome support for the plugins was discussed in July 2015 and availability for Sept 2015 was discussed. It is now Nov 2016. Are they available now? If so, where?
