change email via app

Hi,

I have an amcrest camera and recently changed the email password that I am using to email alerts when the camera alarm is triggered. The network card on my PC is different from when I set up the camera so unless I set up the camera as new I cannot access the IP settings via my PC. Can I change the email password via the smartphone app that the camera sends emails to?

Hello edicus,

Unfortunately there is no option to change the email address using the phone app. You should still be able to access it on PC with the cameras IP address even if you have a new Network card. You can use the Ipconfig tool to find the cameras' ip address.
