Cant get camera to work

Thanks Revo2Max, Please hang in there with me because I'm almost there. Here is a dumb question,got the camera running good on computer network. Can't make it work on my android phone,keeps telling me to turn on WiFi... My phone is a verizon too but I think it uses a different network then my MiFi home system. I can go on the internet when every I want with the phone,hope this makes since. Any suggestions with the phone part.

Im loosing hair over this, now lock out over changing password. Username or password do not match.

So about setting up your Camera over your Phone is part to setup your camera to know the Wifi Password and SSID info...

So on most phones for Cell service there is a Wifi for home networks and when you turn that off you would be on your Cell data...

So in post in back thought you had said you get it set up after the post where I said you would want to use your Phone to setup WIFI...

humm Guess I miss read that...

Wrong password? Should not have been locked out as it should have been your password that you connect with over your computer... However it can be a bit of a PITA with the small screen keyboards lol...

Guess why my username is zplugger, I keep plugging away until it works. Ok here is where I got too. Both computer and phone work. Can't the the push motion alerts to work, I have gmail so do I need any special numbers? I could not find how to push a text to my phone, that is all I really need. Can this be done?

Bring up your Phone Amcrest App. Log in. On the top left is 3 line with 3 dots in front. CLick that, Then click the Push notification. Pick the Camera if more then 1 installed, then click enable, then click type you want, then save on the top right should be a diskette looking icon there... If not back out and it should ask you if you want to save before you leave. Now your Phone will Drive you nuts if you have IR on at night and it rain or snows alot lol
