Cannot pan/tilt on IP2M-841

Hi,

I just bought a IP2M-841W and installed the Android app on my Pixel 2, set it up and started playing around, exploring different features, when I realised the pan/tilt doesn't work. When I'm trying to trigger pan/tilt, I can hear a sound from inside the camera, like a motor but the camera does nothing.

Anyone has a clue on this issue? I tried installing Tinycam on Mac and had the same issue.

Hi tmaxim,
Reboot the camera (unplug power and re-plug) when you do that camera will do motor test like pans around and comes to original position if it is not doing that it may be an issue with PT motor.

Hi, thanks for replying. Indeed, the camera doesn't do the motor test when starting up/restarting. I can just hear the motor sound, but no movement
Anything else I can do by myself? Would this be a component that's easily interchangeable?
It would be kinda hard for me to return the camera now, since I'm not from the US (someone else brought it to me - in Europe).
