Cannot for the life of me get camera record

Post by novaspycam »

I'm sure I'm being thick and just missing something obvious, but I'm at a loss and could use help.

I've placed a miniUSB card into my ProHD 1080p pan/tilt camera, and I've ensured it's in all the way and the metal tips are facing upward. The help center on Amcrest's website tells me it should start recording motion detect events immediately to appear under Playback, though that didn't happen for me -- possibly because I'd messed with the recording settings first.

In my Android Amcrest View Pro app, under Configuration Center, under Motion Detect, I've selected my camera name and I've set up a schedule for recording times. My app is set up as per the screenshots attached.

(for the last screen, it displays Sun, but if I select Copy and then Whole Week and save, it doesn't seem to list the whole week after -- just Sun). So what I think should be happening is I've set it to record any video triggered by a motion detection from 5:30-5:45, 2:00-2:15, and then 10:00-10:15. There's definitely activity during those times, so it's not that no motion is happening to trigger the video recording.

I'm at the end of my rope. No tinkering seems to get this to record video to show in Playback. ANY help is appreciated.

Where's the destination settings? Are you using a microSD card? Has it been formatted by the camera?

IMHO, it is easier to setup the device from a computer using a web browser.
