Cannot delete recordings from Amcrest Cloud now?

I have just been told that I cannot now delete recordings from Amcrest Cloud. I asked the question because I've been having problems finding certain functions since they updated the site. Does anyone know why they would change this option? Here is the response I received below:

What ever recording are recorded to the cloud cannot be deleted. The only way would be to fully deactivate your cloud account. Im sorry for the inconvience.
