Can't use CGI API to get VideoMotion events

Post by haimg »

Hello,
I'm using IPM-842EB camera... Verified that motion detection works, and events are being generated (as viewed via the "Alarm" tab in the web interface. However, when I try to get these events via the CGI API, following the Amcrest HTTP API SDK, I get this:

Code: Select all

http://cctv-front.my-domain.com/cgi-bin/eventManager.cgi?action=getEventIndexes&code=VideoMotion
Returns "Error: No Events", and

Code: Select all

http://cctv-front.my-domain.com/cgi-bin/eventManager.cgi?action=attach&codes=VideoMotion
Returns "400 Bad Request" code.

I'm using the latest firmware available for the camera. Am I doing something wrong, or the firmware is buggy, or what?
