I've noticed a very strange issue with my Amcrest DVR system.
I access my home network with a domain name, and the Amcrest system has its own port so I can log in to the web interface.
I can use the web interface locally without any problems: my username and password work perfectly fine.
When I try to access the web interface from somewhere else, my username/password is rejected with "Login failed!" I am using the exact same username and password as I used locally, for the main admin account.
I also tried toggling both the LAN and WAN buttons on the login screen and it still doesn't work.
Why can't I login to the web interface from outside my network even though it is visible???

Re: Can't Login Remotely
I resolved this after searching the forums for a few hours.
I had to add a port forward for port 37777. It had nothing to do with a bad password, as was suggested by the error message.
