The setting under Camera>Video>Snapshot>SnapshotType seems to not work properly.
There are 2 options, General and Event. If I set it to "Event" and then save, it appears to save. If I use "refresh" it even remains on "event" but then if I click another tab, say "overlay" and then back to "snapshot" it is reset to "General"
Is there a way to make this work right?
Camera snapshot type resets
Re: Camera snapshot type resets
Hello mbeattie,
Those settings get saved. Basically what you do there is set the snapshot type for 'Event' snapshots and 'general' snapshots. Event means when it detects motion and sends the snapshot or upload to FTP etc. General means taking snapshots on a schedule not based on motion.

Re: Camera snapshot type resets
ok, I was fiddling with it because while I had it hooked up to my FTP, it was just creating empty folders every minute for no reason.
Is there a way to make it not do that?

Hello,
Please take a look at the below thread and follow the suggestions. It seems to be some issues communicating with the FTP server through Active FTP mode.
