I just installed the Amcrest 720P 4CH Tribrid (IP/HDCVI) Video Security System in the house we are having built. The 4 cameras are all outside and we live in MN where temperatures can go into the negative double-digits. I am looking for feedback from others who live in cold climates and if you had issues with your security camera systems during the winter season and cold weather.
Thank you.
Camera operation and recording in cold weather?
Re: Camera operation and recording in cold weather?
Yup. I bought an IP2M-842B earlier this year and now that it's mid-December the temperature has just hit a monthly low of -10°C and the camera won't connect. I think it's too cold outside. But that's just me, others may not be experiencing this same sort of technical difficulty.
