Was looking at the systems on the Amcrest website. In particular, the Qcam NV2108E and Ethernet Cam supplied in the system, "Amcrest Qcam 2-Megapixel (1920 x 1080) 8Ch Network POE Video Security System (NVR Kit) - Four 2MP POE Weatherproof Bullet IP Cameras."
In going thru the technical discussions on cable length and distance, it looks like you can go 300ft (100m) roughly, on the ethernet cable between the cams and the NVR. Can i use a POE extender from that point and repeat that distance (or perhaps two extenders, where I'd have that local power source to the extenders, where the one or two extenders are located), in order to cover my house and the detached garage?
