I have an IP2M-841 camera. I need the email notifications to help secure camera. The email notifications work until there is a loss of power or a loss of internet. When internet service returns the email notifications fail until I reboot the camera. So, to help ensure the camera's email notifications work, I need the camera to auto-reboot everyday. So, i go into the settings and check the box next to auto-reboot and set the dropdown to everyday and then save.

But, as soon as the camera reboots, the auto-reboot setting resets. The camera will only auto-reboot once. Then I have to change the setting again. This seems like a bug in the software. Can someone fix this please? Or, tell me how to fix it for myself?
auto reboot
Re: auto reboot
Hello Otis,
The auto reboot settings not staying after first reboot is something we are working on currently and we are expecting to have it corrected asap.

Re: auto reboot
Is there some way I can be notified of any firmware updates? Is the camera capable of automatically checking for updates? I would like to fix the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you.Melvin wrote:Hello Otis,

Re: auto reboot
Issue still persists after upgrading firmware to 2.420.AC00.15.R, build : 2016-09-08. This issue renders this camera USELESS as a security device as I see regular internet and power outages where I live. I am getting ready to post a bad review on Amazon where I purchased the camera. Please fix this.
