So using IP Config Tools it used to show my SD cameras without any issue last year it started to show them as Unknown or might have been earlier this year I am not sure now.. SO in the picture below you can see that one of my 850's on my normal Network is showing as Unknown. However removed my 850EB off one of my NVR's and was looking for the IP so I didn't have to go look up in the Logs so that is why I used the IP Config Tool. Oddly it shows the SD on the one that I just took off my POE NVR.. Some odd things for sure going on this year..
Anyone having issues with Speed Dome showing on IP Tools
Re: Anyone having issues with Speed Dome showing on IP Tools
Maybe one 850EB shows unknown type because the two 850EBs show different firmware versions.
Try using Dahua ConfigTool to see if you get the same result.

Re: Anyone having issues with Speed Dome showing on IP Tools
Thanks for the Idea, Issue is that I was using Dahua IP config tool before because I liked the look over the Amcrest one. However even in that one it was showing Unknown. My 846EB used to also show up. In the Image above it isn't listed because it is now behind a POE NVR. However when It was connected to Dahua Config Tool at the same time all my Speed domes stopped showing the SD.. So then I un installed Dahua and installed the Amcrest one and it also was showing Unknown. I put my 850EB in the back on my POE NVR for a while after I lost my POE+ Switch from a Lightning Storm, that was powering it. So I started to have an issue with my IR at night not giving me the Zoom IR and thought maybe it was caused by being installed in my POE NVR. So I broke out the 24vac Power supply and connected it back to normal Network port, (Didn't solve the IR issue, had to reset the camera) However as soon as I put it back on the network even before resetting it I scanned my network to find the SD as I didn't look at the POE NVR's Switch IP for the camera.. That was when i noticed that it says SD now rather then Unknown. While they are on different FW they are on the same FW when it was showing SD using the Dahua software. (it just stopped one day) I even installed IP tools on 2 different computers that hasn't had it installed before of either version to see if maybe it was an issue with Reg Keys of Windows and same results.. Dahua on one computer and Amcrest on the other. It is almost about the same time that ASP no longer finds any devices when you search for them started to happen. Only finds my ASH21 and my PC-NVR..
Oh well.
So they show SD for you on what ever software your using? I mean your using an 858 so it is newer FW my guess it that it is..

Re: Anyone having issues with Speed Dome showing on IP Tools
My 858 with firmware dated 2018-07-06 shows SD type with Amcrest and Dahua.
There is a screenshot at the bottom of link below that shows some Unknowns. The two unknowns near the bottom and your unknown all show the same firmware version. Maybe that would help.

Re: Anyone having issues with Speed Dome showing on IP Tools
Yeah been there, In the End, I just put older FW on and SD now shows up on my 2 850EB again. 846EB might be removed from service as it seems it is starting to break down on me. Both Hall Effects for pan and tilt no longer work, camera says it is running 162F most of the day and night lowest it has shown is 99 and that is on the really cold nights when my 850's are showing 50's and 60's..
Now that I think about it I think there is only 1 Hall Effect and the tilt uses a Micro Switch and both are either out or the Circuit that runs them is defective either way it was a nice camera and used well..
Thank you for your ideas and time.
