My wife purchased a new Amcrest IP2M-841W this week and yesterday I set up the camera. When I looked more closely at the image today, I noticed the same distorted image described here in this earlier post :
https://amcrest.com/forum/technical-dis ... t1451.html
The image is distorted in the left and right edges. Just as described in this post - edges that should be straight are curved, giving the image bit of a fish-eye effect.
I also have 2 other cameras, a Foscam, and an Amcrest IPM-721S which don't have the same issue.
Everything in the new camera should be set to the default values.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to address?

Re: Amcrest IP2M-841W - Image Distorted
Hello,
Please try hard resetting the camera. For this, you need to press and hold the indicator light on the back of the camera for 10 - 15 seconds. The light will turn red and the camera will do its initial pan/tilt after this. You need to set up the camera once again after this as it will reset all the settings
