Can someone provide a recommendation for my ideal security setup? First off, i started with Netgear Arlo which is super awesome but they arent wired so i chose Amcrest for more a permanent solution. My ideal setup would be a security solution that will record 24/7 and have motion sensors that will send me a message on my phone. In addition, the motion sensor alert that is sent to my phone will prompt me to open the app and see a 20 second recording.
So far, i purchased the amcrest dvr unit and although it advertised this functionality, it never worked reliably. Does anyone have this solution in place and if so how is it configured? Im even open to recording to a nas device but not sure how to pull this off.
