Adjusting when video starts on motion - iOS

I emailed tech support but have not heard back.
System: Amcrest 1080p 4 camera system.

I have been working on getting the motion setting setup.
One problem I am having is when I get a motion alert it starts the video roughly 30 seconds before the motion.
Is there a way to change that in any of the settings?
I would really like to start the video when it see's the motion.
I have my cameras setup to record video 24/7

Under Setup->Storage->Record Control there is a parameter for how many seconds before the trigger to record. It's called "pre-event record".

Thank you for the response.
It was sent at 4 seconds and I changed it to 0 and that didn't change anything.
I just moved it to 25 seconds and it still has around a 25 second delay.

Any other ideas?

Perhaps worth looking at the log to see if there might be something else (sound event?) triggering the capture to begin.

I have the same problem. I'm trying to get 2 of our 4 cameras facing the parking lot to trigger when a car drives by. What I did is adjust the Region so it doesn't go all the way to the edges but more in the center of the area I want covered. That seemed to help.

I say seemed because mysteriously I'm no longer getting email notifications even though I made no setting changes to that.

I'm very disappointed in my Amcrest system and will be buying from a different manufacturer in the near future for my home. Too bad they don't see how their cumbersome system is losing sales.

Unfortunately there is no specific pre-record settings for the phone. The prerecord can be set from the web interface of the camera only and it records on the SD card from where both the web interface and the phone app plays back.

If you go to the play back option to play video it should be the same both on phone as well web interface. It could be that when you get the notification and play directly from there it shows a previous video or something.
