Adding multiple IP camera to NVR

Post by hien »

I have the 1104 NVR and two IP2M-841B - everything were set up and work - just couple curious questions

When adding the camera to the NVR
1. Both cameras are using port 37777 - should I use different port for each camera?
2. What is the remote channel No.? I leave it as 1 for both (default)

Thanks.

Hello hien,

1) Both cameras can be left 37777 port and that should not be an issue unless you have to set up port forwarding for the cameras which is not necessary as you can view them on the app via p2p.
2) This setting can be left at the default value, no need to change.

Melvin,

Thanks for a quick response. BTW, what's the remote channel no? What does it do?

Thanks.

Yep, I would like to have those questions answered too. I have two cameras connected to an NVR1104E and both have the same remote channel which is "1".
