I have recently purchased two IPM-720S cameras for the inside of my home. I have a 960h 8 channel system and have been unsuccessful in adding the IP cameras to the HVR. The cameras show up on my IP device list, but just keep saying invalid pwd.
Am I missing something here? Shouldn't these two Amcrest products work together? I can run them both from their respective apps (which baffles me that I should need two apps, but whatever), but I cannot find a way to have the IP cameras record to the HVR.
Can anyone help with this?

Adding IPM-721S to 960h DVR
Re: Adding IPM-721S to 960h DVR
Hello bprice7291,
It is possible to add Ip cameras to this system but unfortunately they do not work very well together. For IP cameras the best recording solution is an NVR.
If the IP shows up, make sure that you enter the correct password for the camera in the IP channel camera add section to see if it works. Also if the camera is wireless, login to the cam web interface and form setup > Network > TCPIP, set he wireless adapter as the default one.
