Has anyone else experienced a problem where the camera will power up and connect to wifi when using the micro USB port on the back of the camera but when connected to the doorbell wiring (16v tested) will power up but not connect to wifi?
The access point for this is about 25 feet away from my office (powered via USB) and about 5 feet away from where the doorbell is installed (doorbell 16v power).

Hello and Welcome to the Forum..
I am going to guess that your camera has different then others if it will power on but won't connect to Wifi.
Normally the issue is that when USB power is used the camera works however when the Camera is powered by normal 16vac 30va transformer at the doorbell switch area that the camera would no longer power on..
Either way it sounds like your camera is dead and will be to be RMA or Exchanged for new one if less then 30 days from someone like Amazon..
USB Power and Normal power are in a different Circuit area within the camera and is why when normal method don't work USB can.
Sounds like in yours the main power board has fault to network power circuit area of the camera..
