Amcrest's official wireless chime "AD1-CHIME" has been out of stock for a couple years.
Dahua's is in stock and appears to be the same device:

I bought the Dahua version on a whim, but it's serial number is not supported by the Amcrest app.
Has anybody figured out a way to get a wireless chime supported beyond HomeAssistant or another wireless chime to use?
Alternatively has anybody had success flashing this firmware onto the AD410? https://www.a1securitycameras.com/dahua ... rbell.html > Dahua DH-DB6I 5MP WiFi Video Doorbell
AD410 Wireless Chime Compatibility
Re: AD410 Wireless Chime Compatibility
Why would you want to Flash that FW. I can tell you that at the time the 2k Lorex doorbell was built for Lorex it was owned by Dahua and the doorbell while they do look the same I can tell you the Hardware inside the camera body are not 100% the same and flashing Dahua or Lorex FW to the Amcrest camera would more then likely just Brick it. Some of the functions of the Lorex is cooler then then Amcrest however the Amcrest doorbell is better with access to full API. Lorex don't allow API access. Or at least not the one I own with the FW that is installed in it.. Functions was only driven by software for what I am talking about. I mean the Amcrest has 3 color leds around the button so they could add in the feature. However the Chip for API isn't in the Lorex so being able to add that in the Lorex isn't going to be something of the same for Amcrest. Now I don't know for sure that the Dahua DB61 is the same as Lorex. However because Dahua owned them at the time I am thinking they built the DB61 the same as the Lorex B451AJ Doorbell..

Re: AD410 Wireless Chime Compatibility
@Revo2Maxx Any idea how to get any wireless chime working, seeing as the official Amcrest one has been sold out for so long?
Re: AD410 Wireless Chime Compatibility
I am sorry at this point I don't. It seems that the Amcrest and Dahua ones both are sold out. I did see someone say that they thought the Dahua one might have been back in stock and if that is the case maybe Amcrest ones won't be long to follow.
