Access denied to latest IP2M-841 firmware

Hello,

The latest firmware for IP2M-841 camera cannot be downloaded, I get an access denied XML response zhen trying. URL given on the firmware download page is:

https://amcrest-firmwares.s3.amazonaws. ... 200217.bin

Could you please solve this issue? I would like to upgrade due to the vulnerabilities that were fixed in the 20200217 revision. Many thanks in advance.

Can you confirm the Current FW your running and the Model of camera your trying to upgrade. Also incase you didn't know or others that might read this there might be a different FW if your camera is outside of the USA.. So might be an issue with your camera being an International camera.

Also please note that if someone Cracked the camera and installed a 3rd Party FW on the camera it will no longer be able to upgrade to Amcrest FW and will need to be supported by the FW package designer from then on.

Outside of that. Cameras trying to go back past FW dated in 2019 with new FW installed will also fail...

Thanks for wour answer but I think I was completely misunderstood. I can update the camera with no issue. The Access Denied is not with the camera itself, but on the official Amcrest firmware download page at https://amcrest.com/firmware/
I took a screenshot:


The red circle shows the arrow for download, which leads to an access denied from amcrest file storage. It has nothing to do with my camera. Thanks for fixing this!

I can confirm what @zeb is saying. At first I wondered if it was a Browser issue, I use FF and it causes problems occasionally but I got the same with MS Edge. I have reported the issue.
