I had a 960H 4ch DVR box and switched it to a 8ch and added 4 more cameras. Now I have Video loss appear randomly on the screen. The cameras look live but the screen is frozen. It will not reset unless i unplug the power to the DVR box then everything works great for a few hours or a day then it happens again. I changed the power adapter and also put four cameras on one outlet and the other four on a completely different power source. I also have switched from video standard NTSC to PAL and still nothing I also have Hard reset the DVR box and still seem to have the same problem. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

Re: 960H 8ch Video Loss
Hello Brewfro87,
How long are the cable runs from the camera to the DVR? Please ensure that the cables are properly connected on the back of the DVR with no loose play.
Are all cams facing this issue or only a few of them?

Re: 960H 8ch Video Loss
The cable runs are pretty long but everything is connected tightly to the DVR box it seems to work for a few days then cuts out to Video Loss, with the cameras frozen on whatever time it stopped. this affects all the cameras.
