7204 won't display video for motion events after firmware update to 10003

I have an AMDV7204 system that's been working great. It started displaying a message on the screen that a firmware update was available so I looked for it and found 10003 (I had 10001 installed prior).

After updating successfully to 10003, I can't play any of my motion recorded events!! WTF?! The motion is recorded properly by the yellow recording, but when I click on that portion of the video bar, OR select the exact time frame of the motion event, the video immediately skips to the end of the motion event so I miss the video entirely!

I can't find 10001 to downgrade to. I've soft rebooted. I've hard rebooted. I've reformatted my hard drive. I've run the firmware update again successfully.
THIS IS A HORRIBLE GLITCH.
Do you folks even QA your firmware updates???????

I need a fix for this! I can't believe there isn't even a link to download previous versions of firmware if dumb shit like this happens so I can go back.

I called and talked to tech support. We found out that this issue ONLY happens on the device. If I browse playback via the web, I can see the motion event recordings, but if I browse the playback on the DVR, all motion event recordings skip to the end when attempting to play them. It doesn't matter if I play them via the timeline or via the recording event listings.

Tech supports answer was "give it a few days to see if the problem goes away". REALLY?? What kind of stupid answer is that???

There is a major glitch in the latest firmware, why can't you test it and fix it???????? Nobody at Amcrest seems to give a shit that their firmware updates do more harm than good. WTF.

So Tech Support lied. I just happened to come across an old firmware update (10001) I had on a USB drive, which the system easily let me update (backdate) to. Now my motion event recordings play back perfectly! I don't know how retarded this company has to be to NOT have all firmware updates available in cases like this, but thank christ I had an old firmware file. If anyone needs 10001 for a 7204, PM me, and I'll send it to you because Amcrest sure as hell won't.

Edison, I can't figure out how to PM you nor can I find my archive of 10001. I upgraded to 10003 over the weekend and no longer get MD emails or notifications. Only thing I can figure is to downgrade. If you can PM me I can provide my email if you still have 10001??
