720 clicking when lights go out in the room

My 720 clicks when the room goes dark. and when I view from my laptop I see the light change and the Ir goes from dim to dark

Hi..Your camera is working fine, it is going into NIGHT vision when you hear the clicking. Everything Should go from being in color to Black and white. When the lights come back on, You will hear it click again, It will go back to COLOR view.

my problem is that the clicking continues throughout the entire evening when the room is dark not just when the light comes on in the room
so there is a constant clicking all night. this doesn't seem normal, I can understand the click when the lights come on but, it constantly clicks in a dark room. thanks for your help

Is it switching back and forth from IR to Day TV? If so, you need to increase the delay after it goes to IR.
