Hi,
I am coding in C# .NET and am having a persistent problem accessing an mjpeg stream per the API documentation. I have seen the posts regarding the required use of digest authentication, and I have tried two separate implementations of digest auth (one with HttpWebRequest and manual auth handling, the other letting HttpClient handle the authentication) with the same result. I know basic auth is not an option anymore regardless of what the API documentation still says.
I am able to authenticate when making simple web requests (pan and tilt works, for example), but when I request an mjpeg stream with HttpWebRequest.GetResponseAsync() or HttpClient.GetStreamAsync(), I receive a "401 Unauthorized" error. Am I doing something wrong? Is the API documentation out of date?
My company would like to be able to deploy these IP cameras integrated with our equipment. I would appreciate any help with this problem.
401 Unauthorized when Requesting MJPEG Stream

Need an answer here. Could you contact one of your programmers and have them respond?

The user forum isn't your best option for a response from Amcrest as we are all customers like you
. You might be lucky and get an answer if another user has had and resolved a similar problem to the one you're posting about.
May I suggest that you submit a support request - https://amcrest.com/amcrestsupport
