I have Amcrest Surveillance Pro installed on both of my Macs, one home and one at work both on High Sierra, for some reason one shows "SMART PSS Professional Surveillance System 1.11.1 2016-12-06" and the Mac that works shows "Amcrest Surveillance Pro 1.11.1 2016-12-06"
how can I have this when I used the same file on both Macs?
the PSS one I cant get to work, it picks up the camera by IP but when I go to "real view" they are not showing up and on my other Mac they show up in decide manager and it shows an icon call "live view" and all work fine.
Not sure why the icons and names are different off the same install package
is there a way on Mac to do a complete uninstall? I tried deleting the app and reinstalling but same issue
2 Macs, same Amcrest software but different icons showing
Re: 2 Macs, same Amcrest software but different icons showing
version that works - https://drive.google.com/file/d/11D5L3K ... sp=sharing
version that does not - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1x4nNNq ... sp=sharing
when I download the zip its Amcrest+Survelliance+Pro+Mac+V1.11.1.R.20161221.pkg.zip and then unzips to General_SmartPSS_Eng_Amcrest_Mac_IS_V1.11.1.R.20161221 2. maybe a wrong file changed on Amcrest site?

I get the same results. The cameras don't show after I add the NVR.
Re: 2 Macs, same Amcrest software but different icons showing
I actually had to file transfer the working app to the Mac that wasn't , its 2 different apps but labeled the same, something is definitely up with the download or something but I got it working on bot Macs fortunately using the one that has a "LIVESTREAM" button and not the "REALPLAY" icon to play live

I've noticed this too only I thought I was remembering something wrong and moved on. How's this possible?
