1080 Wifi camera with Amcrest DVR
1080 Wifi camera with Amcrest DVR
Just received my Amcrest ProHD Outdoor 1080P WiFi Wireless IP Security Bullet Camera and trying to get it connected to my Amcrest 720P 8CH HDCVI Tribrid Surveillance Security System Digital Video Recorder. I found it doing the IP search and added input the password but get "Can not find network host" in the slot where I should be seeing the image?? It shows up on my iPhone app and computer.

Hello dlgonzo ,
Have you tried rebooting the DVR after the camera was added? Also if you can access the camera from PC, please set the correct adapter as the default one under Setup> Network > TCPIP depending upon whether the camera is wired or wireless.

Re: 1080 Wifi camera with Amcrest DVR
I have the same issue digonzo. My wifi outfit is an NVR4108H and the offending camera is an IP2M-841W. I have 2 other IP2M -841W cameras and these have connected and are working fine. The third one when trying to connect gives the " Can not find network host" error. I have rebooted a number of times, It does not connect through a pc, nor the Android Amcrest view pro. Here the error is "Cannot connect".. All in all, I have 7 cameras, and have reserved IP addresses on my network for them, and this one camera is the only one that does not connect. I connected an ethernet cable from the camera directly in to the router and it connected just fine. All of this leads me to the conclusion that there is some defect in the wifi side of the camera. Your suggestions will be helpful before I return the camera as defective.
