So while I have been playing around with my camera and not able to install because of things that have come up like snow rain or sleet and the Freezing cold I did install it today and wow it takes has the view of 2 of my Front cameras and then a little lol.. The Quality of the Camera is very nice. No I don't want to look at it every day however I have a camera that has a view of the camera about 10 to 12 feet behind it so I will see if someone tries to tamper with it.. seeing it is only 9 to 10 feet off the ground.. I have installed it on a Back box that is designed for little larger camera but it works well for my needs..
This is full sized and may need to make it smaller it is rather large.. So if you want to see it's full size right click and open image in new tab..

Re: 1046ew-AI wide view
OK so I thought I would talk about some things I have seen today in a Video about the 1046EW - AI on Youtube..
First IT MAKES me very mad when I see people that Destroy a Camera and while yes the camera is yours to do with it as you want.. However in truth when a Camera is given to you like the one I seen was to the Youtube Reviewer why Destroy the camera.. A Amcrest 1046EW-AI is between 189 and 239+ for the camera alone if you were to buy it Why cut off all the wires only leaving the Ethernet connector that isn't what Amcrest intended them to do for Testing and Review of the camera I don't think... As he is Saying "unfortunately no mic or speaker is built in and these cables I am cutting off is for input and output of Mic and Speaker" OMG so why cut it off why not use it for what it was intended for and even cut off the Alarm in and out.. Then after he cuts off all the wires he says they are not needed and goes into the fact the camera will connect into a POE NVR and or you can just Connect it to a POE switch or connect it to 12v HAHAHAHA NO you can't connect that one to a 12v power now that he cut off the POWER jack that was for 12v ahhahahaha sure if he bought a POE Splitter that could make 12v DC lol... He goes on to say after some use this camera seems fit for a small business or blah blah blah and because he connected it to the back of his house it isn't going to be able to do any of the cool things that it was designed to do..
So in theory they cut off all the extra wires so they wouldn't just be hanging there flapping in the wind... HAHAHAHHA 500.00" in NVR/Camera combo and couldn't take a 20 dollars and install the wiring in a water proof box?! Don't even have to mount the camera on the box just install the wires in the box to keep them all protected from the Environment! What is worse then cutting off all the wires That camera is going to fail because they didn't even wrap the cut off area where you can now see bare wires and over time can short out when it is in ICE if it happens to start to drip off and all the nice things that can happen with water and exposed bare wires lol..

Re: 1046ew-AI wide view
Also wanted to take a moment to mention that the 1046EW-AI does work with IE and I am very happy using IE over Chrome for both the AI camera and my Current 2116-HS 4k NVR while they both do have new FW on them that works in Chrome without a Plug-In there are just things missing in both my 4k NVR and my AI camera that I don't like that it is missing in Chrome... So if you do have a 1046EW-AI and think it seems trimmed down while on the WebUI in Chrome really check it out for best results in IE and I will use IE until it is no longer able to be used for my cameras and Gear that can use it...
