This is a bit of an oddity. I purchased an Amcrest 4432 NVR to replace a 16 channel Lorex unit. I needed the extra PoE ports. But ever since I put the Amcrest NVR in (without any changes to cameras) the playback speed of recorded video is about 1.5x what it should be. In other words, in 30 seconds of watching it (at 1x speed setting) it actually shows about 45 seconds of recorded video. People walking look like they are in one of those old Charlie Chaplin movies. The timestamp confirms it is playing back too quickly and I can't adjust it because the next available increment is 1/2x which is too slow.
This happens with both Amcrest Surveillance Pro software and the Lorex equivalent software that I used to use, so it appears to not be a software issue but the NVR at fault.
Has anyone else experienced this? If you have and you found a solution I would sure appreciate knowing about it. TIA
