NVR-4108HS (1x)
IP4M (3x)
It's raining today, so I wanted to disable MD on Cam1(channel 1) but still have MD on Cam2(channel 2) and Cam3(channel 3). Not hard. I changed the settings from MD to regular via web GUI. Refreshed, looked good. So I went to check the other two cameras. Regular.
huh
Refreshed, and yup. Still regular. Both of them. So I went ahead and enabled MD on Cam2 and refreshed. Enabled again. Cool. Check Cam1 now.
huh
MD enabled and I'm getting alerts there is rain. =\
Am I missing something here?
[solved] MD - either all or none?

Re: MD - either all or none?
Ok, user error (weird OS issue?).
Image > Encode > D1 (Change the 'Code Stream-Type' from MD to regular) - I don't think this is doing what I initially thought it was supposed to. Still, change one and you change them all? What IS this setting for then?
What I needed to do was goto:
Event > Detect (Disable D1) - Well, that was easy...
