...is a bit vague. Im accessing the playback from Chrome on a Windows laptop, with no apparent changes in the configuration that worked dozens of times before. Its a relatively new IP8M-T2599E that has been experiencing freezes about every 3 days but no indication if that could be related.
(FWIW my attempt to post this yesterday was blocked by a Cloudflare 'bot so im hoping this one goes thru.)
"Online playback is experiencing issues"
Re: "Online playback is experiencing issues"
That is a message that I have seen on my own system quite often in the past. I've never been able to establish the cause with any certainty but have always assumed that it was a network issue although I can think of reasons for and against that idea.
Is your camera connected via Wi-Fi or ethernet? If Wi-Fi is the reported signal strength good?
I found that I could always view the file list and also download the file with which there was a playback problem and then play it locally after having checked the snapshot file for that particular event.
Glad that the Cloudflare glitch seems to be resolved.

Re: "Online playback is experiencing issues"
Sadly there is a few things that could cause this.. One a Bad cable, bad port on Router or Switch, router that has been going to long without a Reboot, and sadly if it is a camera on 2019 or newer FW it could be related to your current network speed and or network congestion.. I oddly found out that on newer fW a camera has to be connected to internet for it to playback and I find this very odd when it was a connection within my own network.. I contacted Support last year when it happen to me and was what I was told.. To this day I find that very odd...
Be Safe.

Connected by Ethernet (the "E" at the end of "IP8M-T2599E").
As for Revo's observation, I noticed that my HDMI display on my NVR freezes when the WAN goes down. Very odd behavior.
I really miss the pre-Java firmware. It just worked.

Re: "Online playback is experiencing issues"
Your E for POE camera has many different things that could be the issue.. If your connecting it using a POE switch it might be that it don't have enough power, not a good enough cable, bad Port on the switch, or Router and or internet/network congestion..
If your using your POE camera with a Plug in power then the type of cable for the Network is less relevant, however if your connection is POE switch or Injector would need to make sure that the power it provides is able to support all the devices it is connected with.. Then if your POE Switch is managed there might be things in the Management that makes the connection less stable..
I do have 3 POE cameras that I run Wireless behind two Loco M2 Bridges and they have connection issues at least once or twice a month if I forget to reboot the little devices and or if something happens to jump between my almost mile connection.
