The default password for the Wifi camera IP4M-1026W should be admin. However in the NVR Camera Setting Screen I see the WiFi camera (connected to the network via cable). I click manual add, enter the user ID admin and password admin and Save, and the camera shows up in the upper left corner with "Invalid Password".''
I have a feeling this camera is used, and has another password (the camera was ON the wrapper in the box, not IN the wrapper.
How do I reset the camera to Factory Default?
Also, in the Manual Add screen the IP address is 192.168.0.0. Do I need to change this to the camera's IP address listed on the Camera Device Search Page?
Also the manual says on page 21, step 4, to click REMOTE on the Left Navigation Panel. There is no REMOTE listing there, just Camera, Image, Audio/Video and Channel Name.
"New" Wifi camera IP4M-1026W Password wrong
Re: "New" Wifi camera IP4M-1026W Password wrong
Sadly not sure... I am going to guess if your camera has a Port on the bottom with 2 screws to remove maybe in an area that a MSD could be installed there might be a Switch inside that little door. If there is that is where you would press the Reset...
The address could come up as what ever your Router gave it or something that is static.. However a .0.0 address might be just saying that the address for your camera would be under one of the addresses in that area so something between 192.168.0.2-254 so that would be between 2 through 254... However I would check what your IP is using your router and look for a new device with a NEW Ip... Mac Number could start with 4c or 9c could be more but that is all I remember at the moment unless it is REALLY old then it might start with 3c...
