Adding a new cam using Amcrest View's Wi-Fi method failed so I reverted to Amcrest View's ethernet method which also failed (due to connection timeout). These attempts were made several times and included cam hard resets in between. The cams in question are an 841 and 943 bullet as well as a 4108 NVR.
Question 1, what might I try?
Question 2, is it possible to add the cameras manually by adding serial #'s, static ip addresses and mac addresses to the router and equal addresses using View? If so, which Amcrest software should be used, IP config, View, web browser interface or the NVR software?
The more important part of question 2, in what order should the steps be done, assuming this whole approach will work.
