What am I supposed to set my bitrate at?

What am I supposed to set my bitrate at?

I have a ProHD IP3M-943W that I will be upgrading to 4 cameras assume this runs smooth the next week or so. So for my 1 camera should I just set it to 1080 Resolution, 30 Frame Rate and 2048 Bit Rate for the best picture?
