Unable to select static ip check box

When I configure my camera, I am unable to select the static IP checkbox; it shows the DHCP selected and doesn't allow me to select the static one. Is there some other setting that conflicts with this? As a workaround I can manually have the router assign one based on the mac address but would rather have the camera request a static address.
