surveillance pro - clicking on events is not working reliably

Hi, anyone else have the issue that when reviewing playback, often the software doesn't allow you to click on the next yellow event in the time windows at the bottom? The help page says you can at least skip to the next video/event, but I must be blind b/c I'm not seeing a button for that. When I click an event in front of the one I'm playing, it just snaps back and keeps playing the selected video. If the events are far apart I can sometimes select a different event, but if they're somewhat close together, like within 1 hr window, it just doesn't work at all. Surely we're not meant to have to watch all the videos with no way to quickly move to the next one?

I have a similar problem trying to review video on my web browser. I ended up just listing the video files on the right hand side of the interface and clicking them to play.
