rtsp lag / delay

[GlowingFish]

Hi - When I view any of my Amcrest cameras using OBS via an rtsp feed, I can plainly see a 1 to 2 second delay in the video feed. When I use Amcrest IP config software to view the same video feeds, I do not see that 1 to 2 second delay. Can you tell me what might be causing that delay and how I can either minimize it or get rid of it?

Thank you!

I believe you could fix it in OBS. Do a search on OBS delay in youtube and select some videos to watch.

Thunder storms and lighting set off my motion detector is there a way to stop this?
