Picture text to mobile phone

Amcrest 960H 8CH DVR;

Device will send picture VIA my email, BUT NOT VIA xxx-xxx-xxxx@vzwpix.com; which is the format to send picture to phone via email.

I also send picture via xxx-xxx-xxxx@vzwpix.com with my gmail account, which I use on my DVR.

Could this be an issue with my DVR?

I'm interested as well. The older Foscams will send SMS but the newer ones, as well as the Amcrests, won't.
