NVR - Enternet connection to router

NVR - Enternet connection to router

Is the Ethernet connection to the router required to connect to the Amcrest Apps. I am not connected, the cameras are working fine, etc, but I keep getting Connection failed when in the Amcrest View

Hello lorenzoa,

yes the NVR should be connected to a router with Ethernet cable for it to be accessible from phone app.
