No Motion Notifications with Amcrest Sight - Iphone

I have installed the Amcrest Sight mobile app on my iPhone, however I am unable to receive notifications when motion is detected. Installed same app on my wife's Samsung with no problems. She receives notifications. Can someone provide insight?

Do you use Amcrest Cloud? If so, make sure that notications and motion sensing is turned on there as well.

Make sure notifications is enable for the app on you iPhone (settings/notifications/)

Also make sure you have Push Notifications turned on (inside the app) and that Motion Detection is selected.

I am not able to get Notifications to work on my iPhone6 with the WLD895. Everything else works perfectly, with 4 cameras showing video and recording events when the motion sensor triggers, which I can then play back on my iPhone.

But the most important feature to me, the push notification of a triggered motion sensor, does not work. I have confirmed the settings on the iPhone. I have disconnected and reconnected the device in the app. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have deactivated and reactivated Notifications for the app in the Settings.

Nothing I have tried has resulted in a single notification popping up on my iPhone.

Please advise.

I just noticed that the Amcrest Sight app has not been updated on the iTunes store in almost a year. Could an iOS update have broken this feature?

I am having the same issue. The notification is the most critical feature. There was a home burglary this past week at my neighbor's house so there is a bit of urgency. I've tried calling technical support on multiple occasions (have held for well over an hour, total time) and I have sent 3 recent emails....no response. Turning off the monitor did not help. I have deleted and reloaded the app with no success. Any ideas?? Technical support, are you out there?

I'm having the same problem. Everything works beautifully except I can't get the notifications to work. I need the push notifications because we are using the camera to monitor a partially paralyzed senior citizen. We were using a baby monitor and have had to go back to it.

So I guess we should all just return these and buy another brand?
