new to amcrest

Hello right now i have three amcrest ip3m-hx2 and have Amcrest NV4108-HS 4K.

i have question. it looks like each camera settings can be adjusted through NVR setting interface.
what do you guys recommend? change the settings in each camera's setup menu or do it all from nvr?

other question is on NVR setup menu you have the option for voice alert but it asks me to chose a file. Are there any voice files out there that alerts?

lastly email alerts. I went to each camera settings and setup email alerts. Do i still need to do that on NVR setup?

I adjust the settings from the cameras (my preference).
The email alerts, however, I only do on the NVR. It's because the cameras are PoE and hide behind the NVR (no direct access to internet).
