Mounting outdoor camera with wire down and tilt down

I just got the IPM-723 camera. I wanted to install it on the wall with the wire going down. But when I do that the camera doesn't tilt down because the notch will be on the other side... I don't think I can rotate the part where the rotating ball goes in. Am I missing something very obvious? Thanks!

OK, got a reply from support. It is easy. Loosening the screw on the shaft not only makes the ball of the camera rotate but also the base. You have to use a teeny bit of force to rotate it. Easy peasy.
