Hello,
I have the IPM-HX1B model and my question is;
How do i change the duration of time in which the camera records for once it has been triggered by motion?
Meaning, I've done a few trial runs in which I'm saving data to the SD card, yet when i go back to look at the footage, there's quite a few files for one motion capture, each in increments of about one minute. That was with steady motion for about five minutes.
I'd rather not have dozens of files for one just motion event. So, is there a setting to record for a longer/full duration of the entire motion event, or does this camera only record files in length of a minute each, then create a new file for the same event?
Also, do I need to set the schedule to record motion, or will it capture and record whenever there is motion regardless of what i have the schedule set to?
Motion detection recording time
Re: Motion detection recording time
Hello Nekn,
Unfortunately there is no option to change the recording duration , its a default setting. You can set the schedule for when you want the motion to work under set up > Event > Schedule (includes recording, mail and push notification).
Then there is another schedule under setup > Storage where you can set when you want it to record based on the motion schedule set and/or 24/7.
