I was informed that another user had an issue with their DVR, that it fried their video output and had to have it replaced, or something to that order. They thought it was due to turning the monitor off while the system was on and recording. This seems unlikely, but I'm wondering if I need to always have a monitor on while the system is on? Seems eventually the monitor will get burn in or some type of ghosting issue over time.
I don't have the system setup through my internet as of yet.
Do I need to always have my monitor on?
Monitor always on?
Re: Monitor always on?
Hello eramsey ,
We have not had reports of any such issue with our DVR systems. The monitor can be turned of anytime you want that would not be a problem.
